- The Community of Deary/Historic Steele Schoolhouse Museum Preservation Project - to bring electrical service into their community center - The SHARED Council was awarded $1,150.00
-The Community of Helmer- to replace and upgrade a watering filtration system that imploded last November - The Helmer Water Association was awarded $1,500.00

Name: The name of the Corporation is ELK RIVER REGIONAL ACTION CORPORATION.
Purpose of Corporation: The purposes of the Elk River RAC are to appropriate the Barrier Funds received by the Northwest Foundations Horizon’s Program, Implement Steering Committees to carry out the Elk River Community Action Plan [CAP], Enable the Youth Center to conduct their business and activities, and sustain partnerships with local and neighboring communities and organizations & businesses to serve as a "HUB" to provide continuous information and resource sharing to enhance a higher quality of life for the residents of our Region.

This is a personal invitation to become a part of our effort to improve upon existing relationships and partnerships and create new; with other organizations, visitors and residents of our region. We meet the 3rd Thursday of every month at the Community Center in Elk River, Idaho at 6:30 pm. Also attached is our meeting protocol (agenda). We realize everyone’s time is precious and most of us wear many hats; so a relaxed come as you are and when you can, attitude is called for.
