The Burn Pile is only for things that will burn....and if you put trash on the burn pile - BURN IT!!!! Do not leave it there to blow around....
Garbage is NOT free - Everyone who lives here is charged $1.00 per bag -- So thank you first of all for being respectful enough to bag it up and not leave it - if you stop in at most of the businesses - they will take the bag and a dollar and put it out with our weekly pickup -- The dumpsters are not for public use either, The Rec District pays a high dollar for these for the convenience of their camping guests. Please respect our trash rules. Thank you
Recycle aluminum cans- please crush and bag the cans and place them in the trailer in front of Kids Club - Proceeds go toward youth activities in Elk River Thanks to Friends of Elk River Kids Workshop
Anyone who would like to sponsor, put on an event, etc... for Elk River please feel free.... you can contact me to put the info online here at NO charge.
Vendors are welcome at all of our events - We do not allow Food Vendors - We do not "charge" for "Booth" space - and you are totally responsible for all sales tax and licensing requirements. Booth space is primitive outdoor space. No electric, no water, No tents/awnings, No tables, No chairs are provided. You must simply get permission to set up from the property owners.

and Connie wanted to create affordable lodging and a comfortable decor
here in Elk River. The Lodge is located directly above the General
Store and Gift Shop. There is a Large Kitchen and Dining
area; which is fully equipped - Refrigerator,
Oven/Stove,
Microwave, Dishes, Utensils, Pans, Coffee Maker, etc...We provide
coffee, tea, hot cocoa and a Continental Breakfast consisting of
Connie's Baked Goods. The Living Room is Cozy
(air conditioned) with Television w/ Cable, VCR, DVD Player and board games or you can enjoy
yourself outdoors on the large deck. The separate common area
Bathrooms consist of a Men's and a
Woman's Restroom each with 2 Showers, 2 Commodes and 2 Sinks - there are privacy
doors on each stall and shower curtains for each shower and the ma
in
door has a lock for privacy. There are 6 Bedrooms in the main lodge each
uniquely decorated, and 2 Private Suites.

We are now charging "Room" Rates, regardless of occupancy - However, Maximum Occupancies MUST be adhered to, these are set for not only for your safety but for the convenience of the amenities provided.
There are NO telephones in the lodge. In case of emergency they can contact the store.

We will no longer be charging per person, however, maximum number of room occupants will be strictly enforced.
We will remain "Pet Friendly" - additional $10.00 per night for pet

#1- $59.00 per night (2 person maximum occupancy)
#2 - $59.00 per night (2 person maximum occupancy)
#3 - $99.00 per night (6 person maximum occupancy)
#4 - $59.00 per night (2 person maximum occupancy)
#5 - $99.00 per night (2 person maximum occupancy)

"Whole Lodge" rate (exclusive use):
$650.00 per night (22 person maximum occupancy)
1/2 down for full reservation - balance due (2) two weeks prior to whole lodge reservation date
Reservation and cancellation policies:
Memorial Day, 4th of July, Elk River Days and Labor Day Weekends--
A two - night minimum reservation is required for these weekends
All reservations must be held with a credit card. If you cancel or cut short a reservation, the reservation credit card will be charged "full price" for the reservation made.
Lodge Comfortably sleeps 22 people
Rooms sleep from 1- 6 people
