Family Fun in the Back Country!
SNOTEL Information Site for Elk Butte
Dent Rd - between Elk River and Orofino - is accessible year-round - maintained excellently by Clearwater County Highway District
Park Rd - from Helmer to Elk River - is passable
Snowmobile Trails - Upper Basin Rd, Diamond Rd, Pete's Creek all passable
Cross Country Ski Trails - Road to the Falls Open all debris has been removed from trails
Elk Creek Reservoir - Fishing- Excellent!!
Free Fishing Day June 12, 2010 -
Clearwater Fly Casters are hosting our Third Free Fishing Day Event this
Saturday in Elk River. We have borrowed 5 or 6 fly rods from ID F&G,
another 8 from Federation of Fly Fisherman (Livingston, MT) and club
members are loaning out extra rods to
Teach 26 fly casters to fly fish in the Elk River area
Elk River Airstrip - Fly on in for breakfast at Connie's Cook Tent
Remember Area 29 when filling out your Idaho Parks and Recreation Snowmobile Registration - Thank you to the volunteers who work so hard on the grooming program for our area.
